Kristi Ruggiero serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2007-2008 school year, providing medical assistance primarily for the women's volleyball, basketball, and softball teams.

Ruggiero graduated in 2006 from SUNY Geneseo with a bachelor's degree in both biology and Spanish. While living in Geneseo, Ruggiero became an EMT in 2004 and thereafter volunteered with SUNY Geneseo First Response and Cuylerville Volunteer Fire Department. Additionally, while a student at Geneseo, Ruggiero played midfield and striker for four years with the Geneseo Soccer Club.

Ruggiero moved back to Long Island in 2007 and is currently a volunteer EMT with the Jericho Fire Department and plays soccer for an East Meadow club team.
