CAMPISI, ESPOSITO NAMED ECAC METRO REGION WOMEN'S SOCCER FIRST TEAM ALL-STARS

CAPE COD, MA (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury women’s soccer team made headlines as the ECAC announced the 2009 Division III Metro First Team All-Stars, which included sophomore Cassandra Esposito (Valley Stream, NY) and senior Jennifer Campisi (Commack, NY). 

Esposito is the team’s leading scorer with 16 goals while her 36 points are a program record. She was named All-Skyline First-Team for the second consecutive season and added four assists and three game-winners. Nationally, she ranked 58th in goals per game (.842) and 71st in points per game (1.89). In two seasons with Old Westbury, Esposito has tallied 33 goals, five assists totaling 71 points with six game-winners in 35 games. 

Campisi led the Panthers with six assists and finished her career with eight assists to rank 1st all-time at Old Westbury. She added 10 goals in her career, including eight in 2009. She’s started all 35 games over the past two seasons.
