www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The Skyline Conference announced 23 Old Westbury student-athletes have been named Fall 2009 Sport Scholar Athlete List recipients in the sports of men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball
To earn recognition as a Skyline Conference scholar-athlete, a student must have a 3.30 semester GPA or higher. The Skyline Conference had a total of 357 scholar-athletes in the fall, up from 316 last fall. The fall sport Scholar-Athletes of the Year are the individuals with the highest semester GOA's among first-team all-conference selections. If no individual on the fist team had at least a 3.30, then the individual with the highest semester GPA among second-team all-conference selections receives the award.
