Tavon McNair Game-by-Game Statistics l Skyline Conference Weekly Report
NEW YORK, NY (
www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury senior center Tavon McNair has been named the Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, league officials announced Monday. McNair has now garnered four conference weekly awards this season.
McNair poured in 32.0 points per game on 70 percent (28-40 FG) shooting from the field to go along with 15.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Panthers. He dropped 30 points and 14 boards on St. Joseph's-L.I. in a losing effort on Thursday and closed out the week with a career-best 34 points and 16 rebounds against Sage.
On the season, the Brooklyn, New York native is averaging 18.9 points (3rd in Skyline) and 10.1 rebounds (3rd in Skyline) while shooting 54.9 percent from the field (7th in Skyline).
FARMINGDALE STATE RAMS UP NEXT FOR McNAIR AND THE PANTHERS: The Panthers return to the hardwood for Skyline Conference action on Wednesday (Jan. 25) when they host the Farmingdale State Rams in Old Westbury, New York. Game time is set to tip at 8 p.m. inside the Clark Athletic Center.
