Tavon McNair Game-by-Game Statistics 

CENTERVILLE, MA (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury senior center Tavon McNair has been named the ECAC Metro Region Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, league officials announced Monday.  McNair was named Player of the Week last week for the first time.  

McNair poured in 32.0 points per game on 70 percent (28-40 FG) shooting from the field to go along with 15.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Panthers.  He dropped 30 points and 14 boards on St. Joseph's-L.I. in a losing effort on Thursday and closed out the week with a career-best 34 points and 16 rebounds against Sage. 

Entering the week, the Brooklyn, New York native is averaging 18.9 points (58th in nation) and 10.1 rebounds (24th in nation) while shooting 54.9 percent from the field on the season.  His six double-doubles (points-rebounds) rank 45th in the nation.   

MARITIME PRIVATEERS UP NEXT FOR McNAIR AND THE PANTHERS: The Panthers return to the hardwood for a Skyline Conference matchup on Saturday (Jan. 28) when they host the Maritime Privateers in Old Westbury, New York.  Game time is set to tip at 2 p.m. inside the Clark Athletic Center.
