Old Westbury will now face second-seeded Sage Gators (25-13) on Saturday at 10 a.m. while NYU-Poly (27-10) follows at 12:30 p.m. with No. 3 Farmingdale State (22-12) in Brooklyn, New York.

Nicole Petrucci lined a double to break a scoreless tie in the fifth, scoring Lauren Isaac for the game-winner. Old Westbury denied NYU-Poly from scoring in the fifth, making back-to-back great defensive stops.  Third baseman Corrine Protasiewicz settled a muffed throw from shortstop Nicole Petrucci to throw out Karina Amaro at home, followed by center fielder Jennifer Jean connecting with catcher Samantha Siegler to tag Natalia Stockinger out at home.

Samantha Siegler collected a pair of singles to lead Old Westbury as Shelby Bruns singled and doubled for NYU-Poly.

Alyssa Clancy posted her seventh shutout of the season to improve her record to 15-8.  Clancy fanned four NYU-Poly batters, while scattering seven hits.  NYU-Poly's Miranda Mirelli was tagged with the loss, dropping her record to 14-7 on the season after surrendering one run off four hits and two walks.
