OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - SUNY Old Westbury women's lacrosse hosted its inaugural Autism Awareness game April 8 from Panther Park.

"It was an inspiring event," said head women's lacrosse coach Lauren Schneider.  "We were able to partner with Dr. Sanja Cale to help spread Autism Awareness around campus by wearing t-shirts during warm-ups and on the sideline throughout the game."

Old Westbury earned a 16-6 Skyline Conference victory over the Mount Saint Vincent and broke various program records in front of the home crowd for a great cause.

"It was a great event," added Schneider.
