2007 STUDENT ATHLETE AWARDS BANQUET

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y.-The Old Westbury Athletic Department hosted the 14th Annual Student Athlete Awards Banquet at SUNY College at Old Westbury. The Awards banquet is dedicated to the recognition of the achievements of Old Westbury's student athletes, and thanking men and women who help keep the colleges' ten intercollegiate sports competitive. The celebration, at the Student Union, was hosted by Athletic Director John Lonardo.
Highlights included presentation of the MVP Awards for each intercollegiate sport, as well as Most Improved Player Awards and the Coaches Award. Many other annual athletic awards were also given, including Mens and Womens Freshman Student Athlete of the Year, Men's and Women's Student Athlete of the Year, Panther of the Year, Coaching Staff of the Year, Ted Panteles Award, the Athletic Directors Award and the presentation of the Senior Gift.
