The Panthers Stomp Farmingdale State by a score of 13 to 1

Old Westbury, NY--Farmingdale State opened up the game scoring the first run, the Panthers retaliated scoring 13 runs straight for the victory.
The Panthers showed some great pitching throughout the whole game. Senior right hander Richard Ruiz pitched a strong 8.1 innings allowing only 4 hits and 1 earned run producing 5 strikeouts. The Panthers were led by Sophomore Greg Jones (Laurelton, NY) who went 4 for 5 producing 6 RBI?s. Sophomore Darly Alcantara (Bronx, NY) produced 2 RBI?s on a 1 for 3 hitting day. Junior Rob Knips (Commack, NY) scored 3 runs batting 2 for 4.
The Panthers will face Maritime College at home this Saturday for a double header starting at noon.
