Panthers win a tough game against Maritime College by a score of 5 to 3

Bronx, NY--The Panthers pitching staff was tremendous allowing only 3 runs for the win. Sophomore Zach Flinn (Levittown, NY) pitched 5 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs and 3 strikeouts. Sophomore reliever Joe Nuzzolese (Wantagh, NY) picked up the save allowing only 1 earned run and 8 strikeouts in a 3.1 innings pitched.
Freshman Will Gonzalez (Mastic Beach, NY) led the Panthers offense batting 1 for 3 with an RBI. Freshman Jamie Quinn (Massapequa, NY) scored 2 significant runs on 2 walks.
Daniel Hoseman of Maritime College led his team batting 3 for 5 with an RBI and a run scored.
