The Panthers beat Maritime College 10 to 2

Old Westbury, NY –The Panthers have been led by their great pitching during their last couple of games. Senior right hander Richard Ruiz (Bronx, NY) pitched 7 innings allowing 4 hits and striking out 5. Sophomore Greg Jones (Laurelton, NY) led the way for the Panthers batting 3 for 5 with 2 runs and 3 RBI’s. Junior Rob Knips (Commack, NY) batted 1 for 3 with 3 runs. Sophomore John Decrescenzo (Brooklyn, NY) batted 2 for 4 with a run and 2 RBI’s.
Maritime College was led by Sophomore Tim Feehan (Rockville Center, NY) who went 1 for 4 with an RBI.
The Panthers will face Manhattanville in a doubleheader tomorrow at noon.
