Old Westbury’s Geronimo Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region Third Team

Old Westbury baseball's Ramon Geronimo has been named to the 2006 NCAA Division III Baseball ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region Third Team, it was announced at the NCAA Division III Championship Series Banquet in Appleton, WI.
Geronimo, who was also an All-Skyline Second Team pick this season, makes the team as one of two designated hitters. In just his first season with the Panthers, he led Old Westbury and finished fourth in the Skyline Conference batting .426 with a team-best 46 hits. He tallied 11 extra base hits, with seven doubles, two triples and two homeruns and led the Panthers with 22 runs scored.
Old Westbury completed the 2006 season with a 14-21 overall record.
