JAMES NAMED TO SKYLINE CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Basketball team was honored this week as junior Garthlette James (White Plains, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

James averaged 23 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and three steals in a2-0 week for the Panthers. James poured in 23 points against Yeshiva University. On the season, James is averaging a team-best 19.2 points and shooting 53.3 percent from the field in addition to 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals.

Old Westbury (14-9, 13-3) ranks third in the conference with an average of 10.22 steals per game and presents a defense that allows 72.3 points per contest (3^rd in conference).

The Panthers return to action on Wednesday, February 20^th to host Skyline Conference opponent, Purchase College. Game-time is slated for 8:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased one hour prior to tip-off in the lobby of the Clark Athletic Center.
