JAMES NAMED TO SKYLINE CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Basketball team was honored this week as Garthlette James was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Junior Garthlette James (White Plains, N.Y.) averaged 25 points, 2.5 rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 2-0 week for the Panthers. James poured in a career-high 32 points on 13-of-22 shooting from the field against Maritime College on Saturday afternoon. On the season, James is averaging 19.6 (3^rd in conference) and 2.08 steals (5^th in conference).

Old Westbury (16-9, 15-3) as a team ranks third in the conference with an average of 10.08 steals per game and presents a defense that allows 71.0 points per contest (2^nd in conference).

The Panthers return to action on Tuesday, February 26^th to play host to Yeshiva University in the Quarterfinals round of the Skyline Conference Tournament. Game-time is set for 8:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased one hour prior to tip-off in the lobby of the Clark Athletic Center.
