The Clark Center was the scene for what was billed as #1 vs. the Lady Panthers of the Skyline Conference. Coach Segers had the team believing in one another and for awhile it seemed like an upset was brewing. The team rose to the challenge and gave the Ducks a taste of their own medicine. Freshman, Monique Midy played big at the net by stopping the Stevens attack in game #2, she also brought some offense featuring some deadly kills. The crowd once again showed spirit and energy getting behind their Lady Panthers cheering every shot, dig, block and service ace.
Coach Segers and her band of Lady Panthers can be proud of their performance against the "top dawgs" in Skyline play, The mighty Ducks of Stevens. Even in defeat the women dug deep and put the heat on. The Lady Panther is on the prowl. Watch out the Lady Panther is very hungry too.
The team moves on to the Merchant Marine for a road match on Thursday September 30th at 7p.m. The Lady Panther lies waiting to pounce. BEWARE!
