Dolphins Can't Swim In Panther Park
October 21, 2006
Old Westbury, NY-It started off a cold and windy day as the first half saw a lot of balls wide of the goal and lack of scoring until Old Westbury freshman Orlando McFarlane scored to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead to go into the 2nd period with. Little did Old Westbury know that the Orlando McFarlane goal was all that was needed on a breezy day in Panther Park to advance to 4-10-2 overall and 1-4-2 in conference play with a 6-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent in a shutout performance by junior Brian Hicks.
The panthers went on to score 5 more goals, as the second period goals were put in by John Senatore and Ragi Burton who represented the sophomore class but were out done as the freshman panthers added a few more on goals by Allan Denis and two goals for Kristopher Klein.
The future looks bright for this young panther bunch and will get to prove it on Sunday October 22 at 1:00pm, when they step back into Panther Park for a match up with SUNY IT.
