The Old Westbury men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 7 The College of New Jersey, falling to 0-3 on the season. TCNJ improves to 2-0.
TCNJ's Matt Luber needed just 11 seconds to score what would be the game-winning goal. Senior Michael Ferber added TCNJ's second goal at the 9:20 mark on a pass from Kevin Luber for TCNJ's final goal of the first half.
Tim Dudek added two second half goals for the Lion's, while Nima Rahimi tallied the final goal of the game, scoring off a corner kick with just under 20 minutes remaining.
TCNJ's keeper, Matt Kasperavicius made two saves in 60.02 minutes of work and shared the shutout with Stephen Scutellaro and Kevin Maulbeck. Brian Hicks made 12 saves for the Panthers.
Old Westbury will return to action on Saturday with a game against Medgar Evers, to be played at Mt. St. Mary.
