MEN'S SOCCER OPEN SKYLINE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT WITH 2-1 WIN OVER BARD

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team opened the 2008 Skyline Conference Tournament with an impressive 2-1 win over Bard College on the road. The defending conference champions used goals by sophomore Justin Leakey (Baldwin, N.Y.) and senior John Senatore (Ridge, N.Y.) on assists by junior Fabian Santibanez (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) to take down No. 4 seed Bard College in the opening round win.
Old Westbury will now take on No. 1 Farmingdale State (11-6-1) on Thursday, November 6. Kickoff is slated at 2:00 p.m. in Farmingdale, N.Y. for the second round of the Skyline Conference Tournament. Stay tuned to www.oldwestburypanthers.com for more information about the Old Westbury (9-7) victory.
