MEN'S SWIMMING FALLS TO CSI

JANUARY 29, 2008



STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swimming team lost a 106-52 decision to non-conference opponent, College of Staten Island on Tuesday evening at the CSI Sports and Recreation Center.  Old Westbury is now 0-5 on the season.

Nicholas Perdomo highlighted the meet for the Panthers with a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.  In the 100-yard breast, Stanley Fritz claimed second place with a time of 1:22 followed by Brian Smith (1:27) in third place.  Sean Smith captured second place in the 100-yard backstroke and a relay squad of David Harris, Jesse Carcamo, David Mathews and Francisco Oliver registered a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with finish time of 1:58.
