MEN'S SWIMMING FALLS TO MOUNT SAINT MARY 97-65

NEWBURGH, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swimming team lost a 97-65 decision against Skyline Conference opponent, Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday. The loss moves Old Westbury to 0-6 overall 0-1 in league play while Mount Saint Mary improves to 8-4 on the season and 1-1 in Skyline Conference action.
Capturing individual first place finishes for the men's squad in the meet were Damian Bergamaschi and John Rodgers. Bergamaschi led the Panthers in the 500-yard freestyle where he recorded a time of 6:28.15. John Rodgers won the 100-yard breastroke with a time of 1:12.64 followed by teammate, Brian Smith who claimed second place with a time of 1:23.33. Competing on the 200-yard freestyle relay squad were Brian Smith, John Rodgers, Francisco Olivier and Damian Bergamaschi, who claimed first place with a time of 1:59.71.
