PANTHERS CAPTURE INDIVIDUAL ACCOLADES IN OPENING MEET

NEWBURGH, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swimming team competed at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational on Sunday.
Francisco Oliver picked up a pair of second place finished in his first meet. Oliver claimed second place in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 24.99. Brian Smith followed Oliver with a 14th place finish (29.60) while Sean Smith finished in 15th at 37.94. Francisco Oliver claimed second place in the 50 Butterfly in at 26.98. Sean Smith took home a fourth place finish in the 200 Freestyle with a 3:39.56 finish followed by an eighth place finish in the 50 Backstroke in at 1:02.93. Brian Smith finished his day of competition with a seventh place finish in the 50 Breastroke with a 38.49 finish. Smith concluded his day with a sixth place finish in the 100 I.M. in at 1:21.85. Francisco Oliver rounded out the men's squad with a seventh place finish (1:04.14) in the 100 Butterfly.
