MEN'S SWIMMING STUNNED BY YORK, 87-83

JAMAICA, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swimming team was edged by host, York College on Tuesday evening, losing to the Cardinals, 87-83.  The Men's squad is now 0-3 on the season while York improves to 2-4 overall.

Highlights for the Panthers were a trio of victories by Nicholas Perdomo in the 400-yard freestyle (5:36.72), 100-yard butterfly (1:19.50) and 50-yard butterfly (33.21) while Brian Smith and Sean Smith claimed victories in the 100-yard individual medley (1:30.21) and the 200-yard freestyle (4:15.14), respectively.  Damian Bergmaschi claimed second place in the 400-yard freestyle with a time of 5:45.60 and Sean Smith placed second in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 58.83.
