CARCAMO AND OTT PACE OLD WESTBURY AT YORK COLLEGE INVITATIONAL

OCTOBER 7, 2007

BRONX, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Cross-Country team ran at the York College Invitational today at Van Cortland Park in Bronx, New York.

Freshman Jesse Carcamo completed the 8k course in 35:38, while classmate Ronald Ott finished in a time of 38:39, as the Panthers' men's team placed 9^th out of 12 teams at the York College Invitational. Checking in behind Carcamo and Ott was Nicholous Perdomo, who ran to a 64^th place time of 41:15, while David Matthew was the fourth Panthers' finisher in 83^rd place with a time of 45.56. Rounding out the Old Westbury top-five was Joseph Blanco, who crossed the finish line at 46:08 to claim 85^th place.

Head Coach Jeff Labiento leads his Old Westbury squad back to action on Sunday, October 14^th at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, New York as the Panthers are slated to compete at the City Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational.
