MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY RUNS PAST MEDGAR EVERS

OCTOBER 17, 2007

BROOKLYN, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Cross-Country team edged out Medgar Evers at Prospect Park on Wednesday afternoon. The Panthers amassed 26 points to finish ahead of Medgar Evers (29 points).

Kenneth King paced the Panthers, clocking a time of 10:24 to take 1^st place. Freshman Jesse Carcamo and Ronald Ott finished back-to-back as Cacamo placed 3^rd (10:50) and Ott placed 4^th (11:03). Rounding out the finishes for the Panthers was David Mathew, who placed 8^th in 12:22 and was followed by Nicholous Perdomo in 11^th (15:35). Jonathan Sajous clock in at 10:48 to claim 2^nd place for Medgar Evers.
