Coach Fazio enters her third season with the Old Westbury Panthers with a championship in sight. She came to Old Westbury after a three year coaching term at the Academy of St. Joseph in Brentwood, New York. The team at ASJ improved over the three years to admiration of league coaches and officials.
Coach Fazio's coaching career started in 1991 at Southwoods Middle School, in Syosset, New York where she coached both the softball and volleyball teams. Coaching was put on hold for a few years due to the birth of her two children and later returned to coaching. She coached for the Islip Little League in 2003, where she positioned her team to a second place finish. Coach Fazio then moved onto coach a 9-10 year old team that won second place in District 35 Long Island in addition to playing at the Williamsport Tournament. Over the next three years she continued coaching teams in little league to championship levels as well as taking on the varsity team at the Academy of St. Joseph. Coach Fazio assisted in the birth of the East Islip Red Devils, a travel softball team base on Long Island. The team came in first place in the NJBL, in just their first year and second place in their second year after moving up a division.
Coach Fazio is a native Long Islander and while growing up in Wantagh, New York, she played volleyball, basketball and softball throughout high school. Her senior year, she was voted MVP of the volleyball team and received All-County honors. Fazio received All-League honors in softball as well as being named Senior Athlete of the Year. Her softball team was second in the state her senior year, tallying a record of 28-1. Softball continued through college at Hofstra University where Coach Fazio was a 4-year starter and a 3-year captain.
Coach Fazio resides in Islip, New York with her husband, Marc and daughter Jennifer and son Bryan.

Marc Fazio, a native of Babylon, New York started his athletic career playing three sports at Babylon High school, from there he moved on to play baseball at the collegiate level in Gannon College in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In 1979, Fazio coached baseball at Holy Family High School in Huntington, New York, then moved on to coach softball at Hofstra University for 3 seasons from 1986-1988 where he improved from season 1 with a record of 7-14 to season three with a record of 24-11. At Hofstra University he produced two academic all Americans in three years. He was a Head Coach for the Empire State Games in 1987 and 1988.
Fazio also has 26 years of experience as a football coach, leading St. Anthony's High School football team from 1979-1988 and then becoming Head Coach at St John the Baptist High School.
He is currently the Assistant Principal at St. John the Baptist
High School in West Islip, New York.
