Old Westbury Women Fall to Farmingdale State 60-49

The Farmingdale State women's basketball team beat Old Westbury 60-49 in Skyline Conference action this evening. With the loss, the Panthers fall to 10-8 overall and 4-5 in the league, while the Rams improve to 9-8 overall and 5-3 in the conference.

Farmingdale's I'shawna West led the Rams with 18 points, while Dankery Perez chipped in 11 in the win.

Danna Purnell led all scorers with 21 points for the Panthers. Monique Midy added 17 points and nine rebounds in the losing effort.

Old Westbury returns to action on Saturday at Centenary. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
