ROBINSON NAMED SKYLINE CONFERENCE CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Basketball team was honored this week as Pamela Robinson was named Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week.
Sophomore Pamela Robinson (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) averaged 23.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.3 steals as the Green and Ivory went 2-1 in three games. Robinson, the conference's leading scorer, had at least 22 points in all three games, including 23 points and 13 steals in a Skyline win over Yeshiva University.
On the season, Robinson is pouring in a conference best 22.4 points per game, which ranks her fifth in the nation. Robinson ranks second in the Skyline Conference in the free-throw department, connecting on 83.1 (64-for-77) percent from the line. On the defensive end, Robinson tallies an average of 4.0 steals per game (2nd in conference, 12th in nation).
Old Westbury (5-5, 1-4) as a team ranks third in the conference with an average of 13.22 steals per game and presents an offense that averages 67.1 points per contest (4th in conference). The Green and Ivory are shooting a conference best 67 percent from the free-throw line (126-for-186).
