ROBINSON NAMED SKYLINE CONFERENCE CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Basketball team was honored this week as Pamela Robinson was named Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week.

Junior Pamela Robinson (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) averaged 27.5 points, seven rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists as the Panthers closed their regular season with five straight conference wins to grab the sixth seed in the Skyline Tournament.  Against Russell Sage on Saturday afternoon, Robinson poured in 31 points.  Robinson, the conference's leading scorer, is averaging 24.1 points per game, 3.32 steals (3rd in conference) and is shooting 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Old Westbury (12-13, 7-11) as a team ranks fifth in the conference with an average of 11.28 steals per game and presents an offense that averages 64.2 points per contest (5th in conference).  The Green and Ivory are shooting 66.7 percent from the free-throw line, good enough to rank them second in the Skyline Conference.
