WOMEN'S SWIMMING LOSES TO CSI

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Swimming team lost a 108-46 decision to non-conference opponent, College of Staten Island on Tuesday evening at the CSI Sports and Recreation Center.  Old Westbury is now 0-10 on the season. 

Brenda Marmol continued her phenomenal season with a first and second place finish in two events.  Marmol captured an event win in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 13:35 and followed up with second place honors in the 500-yard freestyle in at 6:29.  Inez Zuska finished second in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:51) and 100-yard freestyle (1:18), followed by Samantha Beja in third place (2:06)

A squad featuring Jessica Marmol, Brenda Marmol, Courtney Reid and Grace Liu claimed first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay in at 2:44.  The same team followed with a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a finish time of 2:59.
