WOMEN'S SWIMMING UNABLE TO KEEP PACE WITH YORK COLLEGE

JAMAICA, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Swimming team fell on the road, at York College on Tuesday evening, losing to the Cardinals, 88-76.  The Women's squad is now 0-7 on the season while York improves to 2-6 overall.

Highlights for the Panthers were victories Brenda Marmol's victory in the 400-yard freestyle (5:34.33) and 50-yard backstroke (40.94) while Inez Zuska claimed victories in the 100-yard freestyle (1:30.00) and 50-yard butterfly (39.27).  Jessica Marmol closed out the top of the leader board after declaring a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 3:00.00.  Inez Zuska and Courtney Reid placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (38.44) and 100-yard breaststroke (2:38.00), respectively.
