Siggie brings an impressive list of athletic and coaching achievements to Old Westbury, his first collegiate coaching assignment. Coach Rudokas is a graduate of the Central Moscow Institute of Physical Culture & Sports Training (Masters Degree Equivalent). During his international athletic career, Rudokas was Breaststroke Champion of the Soviet Union (1966, 1967), held numerous Lithuanian National Breastroke Records (1964-1968) and was named European Swimmer of the Year (1967). Rudokas was also head coach of the national swim team of Lithuania and an assistant for the national team of the Soviet Union. On Long Island, during eight years as Aquatics Club Team Coach at Christopher Morley Swimming Facility in Roslyn (NY) Rudokas trained Senior National and Olympic qualifying swimmers as well as Special Olympic athletes. He is certified by American Swimming Coach Association, certified by United States Swimming (Level 4), by United States Masters Swimming and is trained and certified in CPR.
