The Lady Panthers fought till the end of all three of their volleyball matches against arch enemy the Merchant Marine but could not reach the summit. Coach segers had the ladies ready and focused on their target. Segers and the players began to believe in their abilities and could finally see some dividends. The ladies brouht their A game and came away with a very disappointing loss, 3-0 on enemy territory.
Whitney Alexander and her mates battled every point and looked like they might steal a victory as their service game tossed in several service aces to keep the Marines at bay. The Lady Panthers come home tired and beaten but with heads up because their next victim awaits.
