ALEXANDER NAMED TO SKYLINE CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Volleyball team was honored this week as senior Whitney Alexander (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Whitney Alexander averaged 3.10 kills and 1.80 digs while hitting .298 in three matches for the Panthers. Against Farmingdale State on Tuesday, Alexander tallied 11 kills to eclipse the 1,000 kill plateau. Alexander is averaging 2.70 kills per game (8^th in Skyline Conference), tallying 305 kills in 113 games.

Old Westbury as a team ranks fourth in the conference with a .140 hitting percentage and tallies an average of 14.92 digs per game (5^th in Skyline Conference). Old Westbury returns to action on Tuesday, October 30^th to honor four outstanding seniors against the College of Saint Elizabeth. First serve is slated for 7:00 pm.
