WOMEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY COMPETES AGAINST MEDGAR EVERS

BROOKLYN, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Women's Cross-Country team was edged out by Medgar Evers at Prospect Park on Wednesday afternoon.  The Panthers totaled 36 points, finishing behind Medgar Evers (18).

Edina Dow paced the Panthers, clocking a time of 14:27 to take 4th place.  Samantha Beja placed 5th in 15:27 while Taneia Sample finished in 9th place at 18:54.  Shanequa Williams of Medgar Evers claimed 1st place, clocking in at 13:13.
