Alyssa Clancy statistics
 
CLIFTON PARK, NY (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – SUNY College at Old Westbury freshman Alyssa Clancy caught the attention of coaches around the Skyline Conference this year and was recognized with All-Conference Second Team honors.

Clancy became the fifth Old Westbury freshman to be named All-Conference in the Mary Jo Fazio era. The lefty pitcher ranked among the conference leaders in strikeouts with 126 and finished the season with a 12-5 record and a 1.54 ERA, completing 16 games and throwing five shutouts, including one no-hitter. Clancy also put together a streak of 30 consecutive scoreless innings and went 58.1 innings without handing out a walk.

At the plate, she led the team in batting average (.366), doubles (11), triples (3), RBI (23), slugging percentage (.535) and on-base percentage (.440) was tied with classmate Nicole Petrucci for the top spot in hits (37). Clancy had a season-high 10 game hitting streak from April 10-18.
 
The southpaw pitcher/outfielder claimed Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week in four of eight weeks. She was also named to the Weekly Honor Roll once.

In the latest NCAA National Ranking Summary on April 25th, Clancy ranked 8th in Walks allowed per Seven Innings, 9th in ERA, 21st in Strikeouts per Seven Innings, 29th in Hits allowed per Seven Innings and 32nd in Shutouts.
