WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CHALLENGES AT STEVENS INVITATIONAL

JERSEY CITY, N.J.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's cross country squad claimed sixth place in the Stevens Cross Country Invitational 4k at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on Friday afternoon.      

Junior Courtney Dixon (Baldwin, N.Y.) led the women's squad with a 12th place finish after clocking a 20:15.28.  Finishing behind Dixon was sophomore Samantha Beja (Oceanside, N.Y.), who finished in 19th place at 21:38.02 while freshman Angela Dixon (  , N.Y.) reached the finish line in 24:39.14.  Junior Rayyanah Badilla (BRookln, N.Y.) added to the team's success with a finish time of 20:09.36 as sophomore Mayra Okkotsu (Patterson, N.Y.) finished at 27:46.57.
