MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY LED BY KING AT SKYLINE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's cross country team competed at the Skyline Conference Championship on Sunday morning at Annandale-on-Hudson hosted by Bard College.  Junior Kenneth King (Westbury, N.Y.) led the squad with a 35th place finish, while the team placed ninth.    

Kenneth King paced the Panthers throughout the 8K race, leading Old Westbury with a finish time of 31:29 for 35th place.  Sophomore Nicolous Perdomo (Hempstead, N.Y.) finished 72nd 39:00, winning a battle with Polytechnic's Javier Hernandez (39:27) and Fausto Bonilla, who crossed in 39:28.  Junior Marcial Gallimore (Central Islip, N.Y.) was Old Westbury's third finisher, taking 75th in 40:07 followed by sophomore Rudolph Lys (White Plains, N.Y.), who clocked in at 44:52 for 76th place.  Second-year Ronald Ott (Garden City Park, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring for the Panthers, finishing 80th in 46:59.
