WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY LED BY ESPOSITO AT LEHMAN LIGHTNING INVITATIONAL

5k Results

BRONX, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's cross country squad traveled to Van Cortlandt Park for the 5k Lehman Lightning Invitational on Sunday morning in the Bronx. 

Freshman Cassandra Esposito (Valley Stream, N.Y.) led the women's squad with a 42nd place finish after clocking a 25:14.99.  Finishing behind Esposito was junior Courtney Dixon (Baldwin, N.Y.), who finished in 47th place at 26:17.48 while junior Rayyanah Badilla (Brooklyn, N.Y.) reached the finish line in 32:41.97 followed by freshman Angela Dixon (Bronx, N.Y.) at 33:15.48. 

The women's squad returns to action on Saturday, October 19th for the York College Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.  Race time is slated for a 10:00 a.m. start.  Please visit www.oldwestburypanthers.com for more information on women's cross country or any of the other Panther athletic teams.
