PANTHERS POST FIVE GOALS TO EXTEND WIN STREAK TO FOUR

YONKERS, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Soccer team remained undefeated in conference play on Wednesday to come away with a 5-2 win over Mount Saint Vincent College in Yonkers to push their win streak to four games improving its record to 6-3 on the season and 3-0 in conference action. Mount Saint Vincent falls to 3-8-1 overall and 1-3 in conference games. Â
Old Westbury wasted no time getting on the board in the first half, as Justin Leakey scored on a breakaway at the 7:59 mark. Then at the 30:31 mark Leakey struck again for his second goal of the game. The Green and White added it third goal in the 47th minute as Justin Leakey and John Senatore found a streaking Orlando McFarlane who put the ball past Mount Saint Vincent goalkeeper James Green. The Panthers scored just over 19 minutes later when Brandon DeNoyer found John Senatore on a touch off a corner kick to put the Panthers up, 4-0. Mount Saint Vincent answered just under 14 minutes later when Zachary Coppola scored on a free ball from 20 yards out to close the deficit to three goals. Moments later at the 82:11 mark, Fitzroy Lawson used his head to score off a crossing pass from Zachary Coppola. John Senatore then hammered a line drive from the middle to sail the ball past the outstretched arms of Green to give the Panthers the 5-2 edge.   Â
Old Westbury was dominant in the scoring department, as they out shot Mount Saint Vincent by a 25-7 margin. Goalkeeper Brian Hicks finished with one save in 78:23 minutes in part to the swarming Panther defense.
