PANTHERS PLAY TO 3-3 TIE WITH ST. JOSEPH'S (LI)

College at Old Westbury Men's Soccer team received scoring support
from both John Senatore and Alexander Renwart but was unable to
find a deciding goal and tied St. Joseph's College (LI), 3-3,
Saturday afternoon on the road.  Old Westbury is now 9-3
overall and 6-0-1 this season in conference play to remain tied in
second place in the Skyline Conference with the Golden Eagles
(11-3-3 overall, 6-0-1 conference).    
Just moments into the game, St. Joesph's (LI) recorded the first
goal of the game when Chris Runzig dealt a pass to Chris Mancuso
who beat goalkeeper Brandon DeNoyer to the net.  John Senatore
responded with a goal that he lined up and knocked past goalkeeper
Marcosa Saccocio at the 17:01 mark to tie the game at 1-1. 
James Hermann scored complements of Chris Runzig at the 28:45 mark
to give the Golden Eagles a 2-1 advantage.  Alexander Renwart
answered back for Old Westbury at the 54:25 mark to tie the game at
2-2.  St. Joseph's (LI) countered with a goal by Stephan Zaech
at the 64:04 mark to give his team a 3-2 lead.  Senatore
wasn't done yet.  He reacted by making a couple of move to
line up a shot that landed just past the outstretched arms of
Saccocio at the 74:02 mark, tying the game at 3-3. Both teams were
unable to find the goal for the remainder of regulation and through
overtime.  For the first time this season, the green and white
conclude the game in a tie3-3.   
St. Joseph's (LI) fired 25 shots and held Old Westbury to
12.  The visiting Panthers held a 9-5 advantage in saves.
Old Westbury returns to action on senior night, Wednesday,
October 24th to play host to Maritime College for a
conference battle at 4:00 p.m.  For more information about the
