PANTHERS ATTACKED BY WILDCATS

UTICA, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Soccer team was shut out on the road by the Wildcats of SUNY IT yesterday, 3-0.  Old Westbury slides to 2-3 as SUNY IT improves to 3-2 overall.

SUNY IT capitalized on their first scoring opportunity at the 36:37 mark when Daniel Twumasi received a direct pass from Brendon Thomas to break open a scoreless game.  Twumasi scored again when Thomas found him for the second time within 5:32 to give the Wildcats at 2-0 advantage.  Twumasi wasn't satisfied with two goals as he completed a hat trick when Steve Baron and Ibek Abdrahmanov found him at the 74:15 mark to give the Wildcats a 3-0 cushion.

Old Westbury as a team was out shot by SUNY IT, 18-6.  John Senatore led the Panther attack with 2 shots on goal.  Ragi Burton attempted 2 shots and Sandro Chiarlitti and Alexander Renwart added one shot apiece.  Brandon DeNoyer logged in 74 minutes in between the cross bars in which he tallied 6 saves and allowed 2 goals.  Divine Jackson played the final 16 minutes in the net, allowing the final goal.
