PANTHERS ATTACKED BY WILDCATS

N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury
Men's Soccer team was shut out on the road by the Wildcats of SUNY
IT yesterday, 3-0. Old Westbury slides to 2-3 as SUNY IT
improves to 3-2 overall.
SUNY IT capitalized on their first scoring opportunity at the
36:37 mark when Daniel Twumasi received a direct pass from Brendon
Thomas to break open a scoreless game. Twumasi scored again
when Thomas found him for the second time within 5:32 to give the
Wildcats at 2-0 advantage. Twumasi wasn't satisfied with two
goals as he completed a hat trick when Steve Baron and Ibek
Abdrahmanov found him at the 74:15 mark to give the Wildcats a 3-0
cushion.
Old Westbury as a team was out shot by SUNY IT, 18-6. John
Senatore led the Panther attack with 2 shots on goal. Ragi
Burton attempted 2 shots and Sandro Chiarlitti and Alexander
Renwart added one shot apiece. Brandon DeNoyer logged in 74
minutes in between the cross bars in which he tallied 6 saves and
allowed 2 goals. Divine Jackson played the final 16 minutes
in the net, allowing the final goal.
Old Westbury returns to action on Saturday, September
22nd at Panther Park to take on conference newcomer,
