PATCHOGUE, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old
Westbury women's volleyball team lost to No. 3 seed St.
Joseph's-L.I. in the opening round of the Skyline Conference
Tournament, 3-1 (14-25, 21-25, 26-24, 17-25) despite a valiant
effort on Wednesday evening in Patchogue, New York. Old
Westbury, who falls to 10-26 overall and 3-6 in Skyline Conference
action, ends their season, while the Golden Eagles advance to the
next round with a record of 19-8.
