OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer senior Jennifer Campisi (Commack, NY) tallied her third game winning goal of the career to propel her squad to a 2-1 victory over the Staten Island Dolphins on Saturday afternoon at Panther Park.  Old Westbury improved to 6-6-1 on the season while Staten Island moves to 3-8-2.

Campisi put Old Westbury on the board first at the 61:43 mark with her six goal of the season off a pass from classmate Courtney Dixon (Baldwin, NY).  Dixon's assist was her third of the season.  The Panthers caught an unfortunate break in the 89th minute when junior Melissa Romero (Huntington Station, NY) clearing attempt was popped in for the tying goal.  Freshman Allison Pirone (Mount Sinai, NY) sent a perfect pass to Campisi at 91:39, who then gathered the pass and sent home the winning tally past Staten Island freshman keeper Mayda Perdomo (Staten Island, NY).

Old Westbury's sophomore keeper Jennifer Kupfer (Bellmore, NY) made one save to notch the victory while Staten Island's Mayda Perdomo made 12 stops in a losing effort.  Old Westbury outshot Staten Island, 38-7 and held a 9-2 advantage in corners over the Dolphins.
