PANTHER VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT USMMA, 3-1

KINGS POINT, NY (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's volleyball team had their five match winning streak snapped Wednesday evening on the road in non-conference action against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Mariners. OW fell 3-1 to the Mariners with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 20-25, 23-25 at the Liebertz Gymnasium in Kings Point, New York. The Panthers drop to 16-6 on the season, while USMMA improves to 10-11.

YESHIVA AND KEAN UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury will take the court next on Sunday (Oct. 17) to host Yeshiva (11 a.m.) and Kean (3 p.m.) for a tri-match at the Clark Athletic Center. Yeshiva and Kean will battle at 1 p.m. in Old Westbury, New York.
