www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – T he SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team beat the Bard Raptors Saturday in Skyline Conference action, 1-0, in a hard-fought Panther Pride Match at Panther Park. With their tenth win of the season, the Panthers improve to 10-6 on the year and 6-2 in conference play, while the Raptors fall to 6-8 and 4-3, respectively.

Hansel Riddock scored game's lone goal in the 21st minute of play from an assist by classmate
Anthony Ippolito, driving the ball into the back of the net. Riddock's goal was his fifth on the season, tying him with Ippolito for the team lead at the same time as Ippolito's fourth assist on the season tied him with
German Parodis for the team lead. Riddock, a Bronx, New York native has now scored in four consecutive matches.
Old Westbury took 26 shots in the game, coming from six of its players, including 13 on goal while Bard was limited to just four shots on the day. The Panther defense did not allow a single shot on goal for the first time since September 2, 2009 against the York Cardinals.

Pablo Diaz improved to 6-2 on the season with the victory while Bard's keeper Deven Connelly took the loss after making 12 saves.
CITY TECH YELLOW JACKETS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action on Monday (Oct. 18), taking on the City Tech Yellow Jackets in a non-conference showdown under the lights at the Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex –Baseball Field. Panthers and Yellow Jackets kick-off at 7 p.m. in Old Westbury, New York.
