HOBOKEN, NJ (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team lost to nationally ranked Stevens Ducks on Wednesday night by a score of 4-0 on the road in Hoboken, New Jersey. The loss moved OW to 12-8 on the season while their former Skyline Conference foe, Stevens, improved to 11-1-3.

Stevens got on the scoreboard first when Edward Rupp put one past OW keeper Darian Bryan at 4:53 to jump out to the early 1-0 lead. The Ducks scored again just under 11 minutes later when Nolan Sandberg lined up a cross and found Peter Bednarsky in the box who blasted one into the back of the net to double Stevens' advantage.

In the 51st minute, the Ducks' Nolan Sanberg broke into the scoring column after received a pass from Curtis Stecyk. Sandberg buried the score into the lower right corner past Bryan. The final Stevens goal came in at 74:46 when Ernesto Solis scored on a breakaway.

Stevens controlled the match, holding a 39-7 shot advantage and an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks. OW's Darian Bryan made nine saves and allowed four goals in 80:02 minutes of action while Zach Carr earned the four save shutout for Stevens.

SKYLINE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the pitch on Saturday (Oct. 30), taking on the Bard Raptors in the opening round of the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament in Old Westbury, New York. Panthers and Raptors kick-off at 2 p.m. at Panther Park.
