www.oldwestburypanthers.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team played in their third Skyline Conference Championship game in four years Saturday afternoon in Throggs Neck, New York. Maritime Privateers (13-8-1) punched their ticket to the 2010 NCAA Championship Tournament after defeating OW 3-1 at Reinhart Field. Old Westbury now sits at 14-9 on the season and will await word on a possible bid from the ECAC.
Joseph Zorbo netted Old Westbury's lone goal at the 39 minute 27 second mark when
Hansel Riddock sent a cross through the box to Zorbo, who sent one to the back on the net past diving Maritime keeper Harris Papson for the 1-0 lead. OW would take the 1-0 lead into the half and outshot the Privateers, 13-5.
Maritime tied the game at one when John Blunden scored at 63:47 on a laser off a free kick from 30 yards. Maritime took the lead for good in the 84th minute as Jason Tursi targeted Kevin Connelly off a free kick, who then used his head to score the go ahead goal. Tom Federico added an insurance goal at 87:04 to put the game away for Maritime.

Darian Bryan made two saves and allowed three goals in his final Skyline Conference game. Maritime's Harris Papson pickup the win after making six saves to earn MVP honors.
