MAHWAH, NJ (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team traveled to non-conference foe, Ramapo College Wednesday afternoon and were dealt their third loss of the season after falling 3-1 to the Roadrunners. OW is now 3-3 on the season while Ramapo improves to 5-1.

The Roadrunners' Bryan Aguilar settled a pass from Rob Santaniello to score the first goal of the match at 13:10. Santaniello fed Jim Clementi at 20:30 to give Ramapo a 2-0 advantage. Santaniello tacked on Ramapo's third goal at the 47 minute mark with the assist going to Rob Nalesnik for the 3-0 lead. OW got into the scoring column at 64:22 when Ugur Kahveci made his season debut and scored an unassisted goal to cut the deficit down, 3-1.

Ramapo had 19 shots to 15 for OW and Panther keeper Darian Bryan made five saves and faced eight shots on goal. Stephen Monaghan picked up the win for Ramapo by making seven stops in front of the net.

MOUNT SAINT MARY KNIGHTS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action on Saturday for their Skyline Conference opener at Mount Saint Mary in Newburgh, New York. Panthers and Knights are slated for a 1 p.m. kick-off at the Elaine and William Kaplan Athletic Field.
