OLD WESTBURY, NY (
www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's soccer team earned a 2-1 non-conference victory over the King's (Pa.) Monarchs Sunday at Panther Park. The win moves OW to 5-3 while the King's fell to 4-3.
Old Westbury and King's battled hard for the opening 32 minutes with a deadlock score until
Anthony Ippolito netted his team leading third goal of the season complements of
Thomas Manz's third assist to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead.
Oraine Pringle scored his first goal as a Panther at 36:06 off a pass from
Christopher Barbosa for OW's 2-0 lead into the half.
Alex Martino and Joey Bender hooked up at 48:45 as Martino scored the Monarchs' lone goal of the day.

Pablo Diaz was solid in goal, improving to 2-0 on the season after collecting five stops in front of the net. Andrew O'Shura was tagged with the loss, giving up a pair of scores and making six saves.

Hansel Riddock and
Oraine Pringle led Old Westbury with two shots on goal apiece, while
Diego Mercado and
Anthony Ippolito each added one as OW took a slim 8-6 advantage. Both teams drew even in shots, 14-14, while King's held the 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
MOUNT SAINT VINCENT DOLPHINS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action on Thursday, September 23 for a Skyline Conference battle against Mount Saint Vincent in Old Westbury, New York. Panthers and Dolphins are slated for a 4 p.m. kick-off at Panther Park.
