Steven Greene scored in the seventh minute of overtime to propel the Panthers to victory over Skyline Conference foe Mount Saint Vincent, 2-1, Thursday afternoon at Panther Park. OW (6-3) improves to 2-0 in conference play while the Dolphins (1-2-1) start out at 0-1.

The scoring exploded early in the second half. MSV's Joshua Zumbado buried a shot from Andres Romero to put the Dolphins ahead, 1-0 at 55:37, but the Panthers quickly responded. At 57:20,
Victor Farfan slotted a pass to
Christopher Barbosa who sent the ball past MSV keeper Javier Mandujano to knot the game even at one apiece. The goal marked Barbosa's third of the season, tying him with classmate
Anthony Ippolito for the team lead while Farfan's assist was his first of the season.
A mere 6:30 into the overtime frame,
Ugur Kahveci connected with
Steven Greene, who buried it to secure the 2-1 overtime victory for the Panthers.
Along with Barbosa and Greene's goals,
Victor Farfan and
German Parodis led the team with two shots on goal each. Old Westbury outshot the Dolphins in the game, recording 25 to Mount Saint Vincent's six, including eight shots on goal for the match, while MSV had four.
Old Westbury's
Pablo Diaz finished with three saves in all 96 minutes of action to move to 3-0 on the season. MSV's Javier Mandujano suffered the loss in goal, tallying six saves in all 96 minutes of play.
